We’re approaching the end of another great year, and as we reflect on our time serving folks throughout Delaware County and the Main Line Region, we would like to take a moment to thank you all – the customers that make it all possible for us! Without you, we wouldn’t have the opportunity to make homes in the area safer, cozier, and more efficient, and we wouldn’t be able to do what we love.
We were honored to win the Best of Delco award once again this year. The fact that homeowners took the time to vote for us is truly appreciated by our team of experts, and it’s just another reminder that our business is nothing without loyal customers to support it.
Along with this, we were also winners of the Talk of the Town award, which again is voted on by you! Receiving these honors makes everything we do worthwhile, and it has been a highlight for our team to know their hard work and dedication paid off. We value customer satisfaction above all else, so we are glad to hear folks throughout our service area are happy with what we’ve offered them!
Another thing we appreciate is your positive, uplifting reviews on multiple websites. We are highly ranked on Facebook, Google, and more, and it means a lot that our customers go out of their way and take the time to write such great things about our team. We work hard to prove ourselves to you, so it’s great to see that dedication to excellence paying off!
We opened our doors a full decade ago, and we are so excited to see the difference our team has made in the lives of Delaware County families. We hope to bring you all the excellent care you deserve for many more years to come!
Still Need An Inspection This Winter?
Now, we’re no stranger to freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall in this area, and a blazing fire in the fireplace can make all the difference when it comes to staying warm, cozy, and comfortable in your home this winter. If you’re looking forward to peaceful nights spent next to the hearth, then it’s important to invest in your annual inspection to ensure everything is working as safely and as efficiently as possible.
Our CSIA Certified Sweeps offer level 1, 2 and 3 inspections, so you’ll be covered no matter what state your chimney is in. We have the tools and training to set you up right, whether you just need a quick overview or something more in-depth. One thing is for certain: investing in this maintenance is a must! Failing to get it done could lead to much bigger problems if your system needs repair. Don’t put the safety and wellbeing of your home and family at risk – count on our team to check things over today.
Is A Sweeping In Order?
Did your inspection reveal excess creosote deposits in your flue? Then, a sweeping may be necessary before lighting any more fires. Creosote is very flammable, so clearing it out on a regular basis is imperative when it comes to operating your system as safely as possible. If you have too much build-up, your chances of experiencing a chimney fire heighten dramatically, which could leave you investing in a lot of time-consuming and expensive repair work.
Chimney fires are typically slow-moving events that send flames and heat up through the chimney wreaking havoc all the way. These intense temperatures cause your liner and masonry to break down, and they damage your metal components, like your chimney cap, your damper, your flashing, and more. All in all, you’ll be left with broken down parts and crumbling brickwork and mortar, all of which make your fireplace unsafe for use.
Perhaps the scariest part of a chimney fire is their quiet nature. While some are loud and obvious, most are not, meaning many homeowners have continued to put their system to use without realizing the dangers they face by doing so. All in all, it’s a good reminder of the importance of investing that annual inspection, as well as regular sweepings. Let our team help you out with it all!
Home To Pennsylvania’s Only CSIA Master Chimney Sweep
Our owner, Lou Curley, is the only CSIA Master Chimney Sweep in Pennsylvania, and you can bet that this honor isn’t an easy one to obtain. It requires multiple years of earning a Certified Chimney Sweep credential, and the recipient must take a number of courses, as well. All in all, they really have to prove that they know their stuff and have extensive experience in this industry and, to top it all off, there’s a hefty fee that must be paid.
Needless to say, attaining this honor is not a simple process, but Lou Curley has put in the time and dedication to earn it, and it’s one of the many reasons why we continue to excel with every passing year.
