Taking too Long to Call the Sweep
An early appointment is always best if you want your chimney to be in the best possible condition during winter. Many people leave the chimney cleaning and inspection until right before winter. At this point, you might have difficulty getting an appointment. Rates might also be lower if you contact a chimney sweep early.
Trying to Clean the Chimney
