Your Furnace Also Vents Through a Chimney

Chimney Vent Connections
Your gas or oil furnace, boiler, or water heater most likely vents through a chimney. This flue is often neglected and most homeowners wrongly assume that their HVAC contractors do the required annual maintenance on this chimney as part of their service contract. This chimney needs to be swept or inspected annually to ensure it is still in decent condition and is properly venting the exhaust gasses coming from your heaters. If it has been more than a year since you had your furnace chimney swept or inspected give me a call to set up an appointment before it gets cold to make sure your furnace properly vents this winter.
