Collen Brook Farm
Collen Brook Farm, often referred to as Collenbrook, is a historic place located in the Upper Darby Township. The farmhouse and granite spring house were built in 1782 and the stone and frame carriage house was built in 1870. It’s truly a gem that you shouldn’t miss if you’re just passing through the Drexel Hill area.
Lower Swedish Cabin
This is quite possibly the oldest standing log house in North America. It is widely believed that the cabin was built between 1638 and 1655, but no one knows the exact year. The architectural style indicates that it was built by colonial Swedes as part of the New Sweden colony, but other European settlers also copied this house building style.
Dermond Field is one of the top recreational areas in Drexel Hill. Take a day out to enjoy lazing under the canopy of trees, playing on playground equipment, or any of the sports areas that are available.
